This car was tuned to "stage 2" maxing out the stock k03s turbo. We incorporated all of the modifications into the tune and after data logging and revising the tune we finally added pops and bangs and a hardcut rev limiter.

Spec:

  • Full exhaust including decat

  • AIRTEC front mounted intercooler

  • BAM injectors

  • R8 coil packs

  • Induction kit

  • Oversized TIP

  • S3 3-inch MAF housing

  • APR r1 diverter valve

  • SAI/n249 delete

  • VR6 clutch and g60 flywheel


This Audi A3 2.0TDI is the PD140 model with the DSG transmission. We have only tuned the ECU not the TCU on this car. We applied our stage 1 tune with added popcorn limiter. This is set so that the car will not hit the limiter when in automatic mode, only in manual.



This PD150 MK4 Golf was previously tuned elsewhere. We took a read of the ECU and found that the file was “protected” by a “no-read tag”, we soon got into the data and could see why the previous tuner wanted to hide their work...

Having returned the ECU to the stock tune and taken data logs, we then built our tune to perfect the car’s power, suiting the modifications. Which included:

  • Valeo SMF conversion

  • Darkside hard pipes

  • EGR and cooler delete

  • Full stainless exhaust system

Once we’d finished the owner was very happy with the increase in power and the drive-ability of the car (and the added popcorn and deep idle). Previously he had gone through several clutches but now with the improved tune this won’t be a problem!
